POKER RUNS AMERICA

Joins Shogren Performance Marine

to create the Windy City Poker Run

August 5-6, 2005

Poker Runs America takes great pleasure in staging one of this years' extreme poker run events with Shogren Performance Marine, Mercury Marine, Livorsi Marine, and Lamborghini of Chicago. This exciting new High Performance Poker Run event will include some of the worlds most exotic and powerful performance boats as well as Chicago's Lamborghini car club. IT'S HOT! Exotic cars running the highway with boats on the water all in pursuit of the best hand.

A poker run is not a race! It is a game of chance and only the boat with the best poker hand wins, speed has no bearing on the winner, it's all in the cards, says Bill Taylor of Poker Runs America. A poker run is an assembly of some of the worlds most exotic and most colorful offshore boats ever to challenge the waters of North America.

A Poker Run is fun on the water with power to burn. It's a few glorious days of performance boating at its finest, a chance to renew old acquaintances and make new friends. Each participating boat navigates a carefully charted course, stopping at five checkpoints along the route to pick up a sealed envelope containing a single playing card. At the final checkpoint, the cards are checked in. During the gala banquet the envelopes are opened and the crew holding the best poker hand is declared the winner!

Being part of an APRA sanctioned event gives you the satisfaction of knowing it will be a safe organized event for yourself, family and friends. Each event follows our policy "water on the water and beer on the pier". All of the APRA events will be featured either on Performance Boat Television or in Poker Runs America magazine, or a combination of both extending the coverage of some events.

So mark you calendar today and be sure to join a Poker Runs America event, you too may be on television!
